Epiandrosterone, or commonly referred to as Epi Andro, is a legal prohormone. The compound is a metabolite of both dihydrotestosterone and testosterone.
It is known for having low androgenic activity and therefore is mainly used for cutting cycles.
There are many mixed opinions on the effectiveness of this compound. In this guide, we will go over everything you need to know.
We will also share our personal experience and opinion on Epi Andro. Time to find out if you should use this compound or search for a better alternative.
Epi Andro Results
If you want to use a prohormone like this, you’ll want to know what type of results you can expect.
I have done one cycle with Epiandrosterone at 300mg for 6 weeks while I was cutting.
I mainly noticed that it helped me hold onto my muscle mass while I was in a caloric deficit. It’s a good bodybuilding supplement for cutting.
Besides that, I also had increased muscle hardness and vascularity while I was on it. This went away once I started PCT.
Based on my experience, I’d say it’s a decent compound for cutting and helping you maintain size while you are dieting down.
I’ve read some user logs, and most seem to use it for the same goal as I did – maintaining size during a caloric deficit.
During a bulk, you can probably gain a few lbs with it. You will obviously still have to eat enough protein and lift heavy.
But, I’ve been using a new prohormone-like product called Sapogenix and found it to be a lot more effective than Epi Andro.

Epiandrosterone Dosage & Cycle
Using a prohormone the right way can make a significant difference in the results you are going to get.
Since Epiandrosterone has low androgenic activity, you’re going to need at least 200 to 300mg per day to benefit.
Experienced users can go up to a maximum of 500mg per day.
The cycle length is typically between 4 to 6 weeks with this compound. If you’re new to using prohormones, start with a mild cycle to see if you like them.
This period must absolutely be followed by at least 4 weeks of post cycle therapy with, preferably, a product like Rebirth.
A cycle support product won’t be needed since this prohormone does not impact the liver or other organs.
It takes about a week for the compound to kick in. Meaning you won’t see significant effects in that first week of using it.
This is completely normal, the compand has to build up in your system before fully working. Also check out our guide on 1-Andro.
Does It Have Side Effects?
Epiandrosterone can help with slightly boosting your performance, but it also carries side effects.
During my cycle, I did experience testosterone suppression and slight hair loss. I would say it’s manageable, but you might experience this differently.
This is important because you’ll need to be prepared.
According to user experiences, Epiandrosterone can have the following side effects:
- Hair loss
- Joint problems
- Testosterone suppression
Not everybody experiences these side effects, but it’s still something to potentially prepare yourself for if you want to run a cycle.
Because Epi andro suppresses your natural hormone production, it will require a 4-week post cycle therapy once the cycle is over.
It’s the most potent and most used PCT supplement for prohormones and SARMs cycles.
Do We Recommend Epi Andro?
Most of you will want to know whether or not we recommend Epi Andro.
I’ll be honest with you, it is quite weak and isn’t that great for bulking. If you really want to use it, you’re better off using it during a cut.
Because it’s, in our opinion, low power, we advise trying a different product.
We’ve seen significant results with Sapogenix by Huge Nutrition.
You can consider it a prohormone because it causes anabolic activity, resulting in rapid mass gains.
It’s also cheaper and won’t cause suppression meaning no PCT is required.
You can find Sapogenix on the official HugeSupplements website.

The Bottom Line
Epiandrosterone is a mild legal prohormone commonly used during a cut.
Because of its low anabolic activity, it isn’t too good for bulking up and gaining mass.
An average cycle is between 4 to 6 weeks at 200 to 500mg of Epi andro per day. It does have some side effects and requires a post cycle therapy.
We advise Sapogenix, it’s the strongest natty muscle builder out on the market.
