The NECTAS Experience continued ...
At this time, we selected
WebCT
as our Courseware because it is supported at UNC. We began exploring the parameters and tools of that software.
We started conventions for writing since many of us would be actively writing content.
For example, we said we'd always capitalize Web, agreed on titles, and started preliminary in-house conventions for file names.
These got more sophisticated as we worked with our consultant on Preproduction.
At the same time, Martha drafted an evaluation plan and a logic model for our workshop.
Given that this is a pilot effort for NECTAS,we wanted much information on the process.
Decisions were made to ask for feedback as a final activity for every session,
to use regular facilitator checks and to analyze aspects of your participation.
We planned to use the closing conference call as a means of gathering additional information.
We also decided to conduct a follow-up to ascertain longer term outcomes /impacts for your project.
