The opening session features Dr. Michael J. Guralnick, editor of Early
Childhood Inclusion: Focus on Change. Published in 2001 by Paul H.
Brookes Publishing Company, Inc, the book provides a framework of ideas for
meeting challenges and achieving an agreed-upon set of principles and practices.
The framework consists of four goal domains: access, feasibility, developmental
and social outcomes, and social integration. Dr. Guralnick and respondents
representing multiple perspectives will have a dialogue about an agenda for
change.
