Grant Management

• Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR): These regulations are used by the Department to administer and manage its discretionary grant programs.
• Circular No. A-21: These are the principles for determining costs applicable to grants, contracts, and other agreements with educational institutions.

Reporting

• Annual Performance Reports: Projects must submit annual performance reports to OSEP in order to receive continued funding.

• National Center on Service Obligations (NCSO) NCSO has a contract awarded by the Department of Education to track and verify the service obligation fulfillment for all scholars funded from OSEP-funded personnel development grants awarded in fiscal year 2005 and later.

• Scholar Data Report (SDR) is a web-based data collection designed to capture annual, student-level data on the scholars trained in OSEP-funded programs.
